product tip

Our parasite protection spray “Milbhunter” based on essential oils.

Important in summer: protection against grass mites

One of the most annoying parasites in summer is the grass mite. The bites of the grass mite, or more precisely their larvae, appear as small red pustules - if your four-legged friend's fur allows it. The grass mite larvae feed on  Cell sap and release enzymes when biting to soften the skin. These enzymes cause severe itching - and for quite a long time: It can take up to two weeks for the pustules to disappear again.Due to the intense itching, many animals tend to scratch the bite sites, allowing bacteria to enter the wound and cause inflammation. Therefore, it is essential to treat cats and dogs  from the bites of grass mites  protect , e.g. with a  Grass mite spray that can keep the little beasts away.

Effective grass mite spray without DEET

Our parasite sprays, such as  ALPHAZOO "Abgegrast" grass mite spray , work on the basis of selected essential oils. The repellent repels grass mites with its smell, even before the larvae can bite. The insect spray is used  without DEET  – so that nothing stands in the way of cuddling together after the walk.
