PREMIUM EVENING PRIMROSE OIL FOR DOGS AND CATS

Discover ALPHAZOO evening primrose oil for dogs and cats - the food oil for radiant skin and shiny fur for your four-legged friends! Our evening primrose oil is a cold-pressed raw food oil that is ideal for raw feeding and for feeding your pet.

ALPHAZOO evening primrose oil is a real eye-catcher for dogs and cats. Made from evening primrose, it can support the natural skin and coat care of your pets. Are you wondering why? Well, the secret lies in the valuable fatty acids that make this golden drop so special.

OMEGA FATTY ACIDS FROM PLANT

Linoleic acid, oleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid create radiant skin and a shiny coat. You're probably wondering: what are the benefits of these fatty acids? Let's put on our scientific glasses for a moment and delve into the world of chemistry!

Linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid that your dog or cat must get from their food, as the body cannot produce it itself. It can contribute to the care and natural function of skin and fur. Oleic acid, an unsaturated fatty acid that is also found in olive oil and rapeseed oil, supports radiant skin and smooth fur.

And then we have gamma-linolenic acid, which is rarer but is beneficial for your pet's skin, immune system and coat and offers support in this regard. It rounds off the power trio of fatty acids in ALPHAZOO evening primrose oil!

SHINY COAT

As you can see, our evening primrose oil is a real secret weapon. For shiny fur, radiant skin and a joyful sense of well-being - of course always in harmony with the individual needs of your animal.

FOR THE CLIMATE AND THE ENVIRONMENT

Now you're probably wondering why we offer our BARF oil in tinplate bottles? Sustainability is our top priority here! Compared to conventional plastic bottles, tinplate bottles are lighter, more recyclable and their impermeable surface protects the inside from light and environmental influences. This means that the feed oil inside always stays fresh and retains its valuable properties.

At ALPHAZOO, we attach great importance to the sustainability of our products, which is why we use tinplate bottles as packaging. ALPHAZOO takes both the health of your four-legged friend and the protection of our environment into account.

PLANT-BASED LUXURY REINTERPRETED

The evening primrose (Oenothera biennis) is a plant that is not grown in large quantities. Because it is a biennial plant, it takes longer to reach full maturity and produce seeds from which the oil can be extracted. In addition, harvesting the evening primrose seeds is often laborious and labor-intensive.

To extract evening primrose oil, the seeds of the plant must be cold pressed. This process is less efficient than other oil extraction methods and results in a lower yield of oil per seed quantity.

BARF LUXURY FOR YOUR DOG OR CAT

Convince yourself of the power of Barf oil and its positive support for your pet’s skin and coat.

Treat your four-legged friend to an extra portion of coat care from the inside for a radiant shine with the cold-pressed evening primrose oil from ALPHAZOO!

What does evening primrose oil taste like?

Evening primrose oil has a mild, slightly nutty taste. The taste is not that intense and combines well with other ingredients. Dogs and cats can usually accept the taste of evening primrose oil well when added to their food.

How long does evening primrose oil last after opening?

Opened evening primrose oil should be used within approximately 8-12 weeks to ensure optimal quality and freshness. To properly store your opened bottle of evening primrose oil and maximize its shelf life, consider the following tips:

Store the oil in a cool, dry and dark place: light, heat and moisture can reduce shelf life and affect quality. The refrigerator is also a good way to increase shelf life.
Close the bottle tightly to prevent oxidation: oxygen can cause evening primrose oil to go bad more quickly. It is important to always keep the bottle tightly closed.
However, it is important to note that cooling the oil can make it slightly more viscous. It is therefore advisable to bring the oil to room temperature before use.

How do I store evening primrose oil?

To properly store evening primrose oil and maintain its shelf life and quality, follow the following steps:

Dark Place: Store evening primrose oil in a dark place as light, especially direct sunlight, can affect the quality of the oil.
Cool and dry conditions: Store the oil at room temperature or in a cool place away from heat sources such as a stove, oven or heater. It is important to keep the oil dry to prevent exposure to moisture.
Tightly sealed container: Always close the evening primrose oil container tightly to prevent the entry of air, dust, moisture or dirt, which could affect the quality and shelf life.

LERN UNS MAL SO RICHTIG KENNEN.

Alpha – was? Kurzum: Für uns stehen Vierbeiner an erster Stelle. Und wäre es nicht so kitschig, würden wir uns als Zentrale für tierische Lebensfreude bezeichnen (psst, das bleibt jetzt aber wirklich unter uns!).
