Our animal experts recommend feeding:

Dogs up to 10 kg

2.5 ml daily

Dogs 10 to 20 kg

5 ml daily

Dogs 20 to 30 kg

7.5 ml daily

10 ml daily

One teaspoon is approximately 5 ml.
Stir the product in circular movements. Shaking vigorously can cause spills.

How long does Alpha-Zegg feed oil last after opening?

Alpha-Zegg feed oil has a shelf life of around 6-8 weeks after opening if stored in the refrigerator and protected from light and air.

Alpha-Zegg feed oil has a high content of unsaturated fatty acids and is therefore sensitive to oxygen, light and heat, which can lead to rapid oxidation and rancidity of the oil. It is important to keep the bottle tightly closed and cool to extend the oil's shelf life.

How do I store Alpha-Zegg feed oil?

Alpha-Zegg feed oil should be stored in a cool, dark and dry place and should be protected from air, moisture and light.

One option is to mix the Alpha-Zegg feed oil with a little water or chicken broth and add it to the dog food. Alternatively, it can be mixed into a treat or homemade treat.
