PREMIUM LINSEED OIL FOR DOGS AND CATS

ALPHAZOO presents you with high-quality, cold-pressed linseed oil for dogs and cats - a great addition for anyone who loves raw feeding and wants a natural diet for their four-legged friends. Our linseed oil comes from gentle cold pressing and impresses with its purity and quality - perfect for the loving care of your pets' skin and fur.

LINSEED OIL AS A SOURCE OF OMEGA FATTY ACIDS

Linseed oil contains many essential fatty acids that should not be missing when feeding raw food. These include linoleic acid, linolenic acid and oleic acid. Linoleic acid is an omega-6 fatty acid, while linolenic acid is an omega-3 fatty acid - both are important for a balanced diet for your animals. Oleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid, is also included.

ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT

Our ALPHAZOO linseed oil comes in a sustainable tinplate bottle. The environmentally friendly material conserves resources and offers optimal protection for the valuable linseed oil. This means the oil remains of the highest quality and retains its properties until the last drop.

What does linseed oil taste like?

Linseed oil has a nutty, earthy taste and a slightly bitter note. The quality and freshness of the linseed oil significantly influence the taste. Fresh linseed oil is usually milder, while old or poorly stored oil can taste unpleasantly bitter and rancid.

How long does linseed oil last after opening?

Linseed oil will last approximately 4-6 weeks after opening if stored in the refrigerator and protected from light and air. Linseed oil has a high content of unsaturated fatty acids and is therefore sensitive to oxygen, light and heat, which can lead to rapid oxidation and rancidity of the oil.

It is important to keep the bottle tightly closed and cool to extend the oil's shelf life.

How do I store the linseed oil?

Sealed linseed oil should be stored away from light, air and heat to maintain its quality and freshness. Here are some tips for storing sealed linseed oil:

Dark Location: Choose a dark room or closet for storage as light speeds up the oxidation process and causes the oil to go rancid more quickly.
Cool temperature: Store the linseed oil at a cool temperature, ideally around 15°C (59°F) or below. A cool, dark closet or room is suitable for this. The cooler the oil is stored, the longer it stays fresh.
Avoid temperature fluctuations: Try to avoid large temperature fluctuations as they can affect the shelf life of the oil. Do not store the oil near heat sources such as: B. a stove or oven.
Remember to swirl the oil well before use and pay attention to the expiration dates on the packaging. Shaking can cause spills.

LERN UNS MAL SO RICHTIG KENNEN.

Alpha – was? Kurzum: Für uns stehen Vierbeiner an erster Stelle. Und wäre es nicht so kitschig, würden wir uns als Zentrale für tierische Lebensfreude bezeichnen (psst, das bleibt jetzt aber wirklich unter uns!).
